Unlike ectos and shards, rubies and sapphires can drop everywhere, probably at a higher frequency in these new areas.

must agree, i spend most of my pre sear time in the cats or in lakeside....

i take my clearing of the road of scale serously

and yeah, i was devastated when i found out the cats had been crashed. i assumed that the farmers were using the underground areas that still got light to farm food in...i mean, come on! all those adventurers, hefting heavy weps and armour about? wheres the food to feed em all? what on tyria (sp) do we ascalons have to rade with, burned charr and crystal chunks....wait, scratch that...the crystal is great to work with and makes good building material and nice statue and carvings...hmmmm, i wonder if the next expansion will have a nice huge citedel made entirely from Charr Crystal blocks ^^

CharrBane, i know exaclt where your comming from with that Cataclysme remark, i felt the same way myself...kept looking for the Dragons and the Firey Mountain ^^

as to Robot, have you never heard of clockwork? it *is* possible to make clockwork knights, so who says its a robot on the techno sence, when it *could* just be a clockwork golem that we techno peeps think is a robot
